On your first visit our goal is to understand your circumstances and reasons for seeking assistance and to work with you to develop a plan for positive change that addresses the issues that are troubling you.
The number of sessions is determined by your needs and goals. Our aim is for you to experience change quickly, achieve your goals effectively and be able to transfer the benefits into other areas of your life. We will review progress with you to ensure that your aims are being met and that you are finding benefit.
Payment can be made by cash or cheque. Payment in full is required on the day of service. Alternatively, electronic payment can be made by arrangement, prior to the consultation.
Private health fund rebates may be applicable to counselling, depending on your health fund cover. Medicare rebates can be claimed for referrals from medical practitioners under the Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative.
Allowances may be made for individuals experiencing financial hardship, on a case by case basis. Please discuss this when making your appointment.
If you need to cancel or re-schedule your appointment please give at least 24 hours notice. Otherwise the full fee will be charged. (These charges are not covered by private health fund rebates.)
